The Caribbean Export Development Agency has been awarded this for playing a pivotal role, alongside the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), in implementing, and prioritising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Their focus is on developing an Investor Map that adheres to responsible and sustainable principles, driving positive outcomes for the environment, climate action, sustainable investment, and local communities.

The Caribbean Export has been awarded for its Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) finance and investment. Also, for the successful practice and strategic planning for key points of SDG goals that the agency has implemented in order to reduce the level of poverty, by creating jobs in cities and communities, and increasing business opportunities within the region, strengthening the local and international partnerships. 

The industrial zone has implemented and built a resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusion and sustainable industrialisation, to boost and support consumption and production to the economic development and human well-being. This is with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all the utility service inside the industrial area, such as clean energy, clean water and sanitation, providing personal protective equipment, setting up free zone and logistics infrastructural facilities, insight, ICT, and innovative and industrial partners.
