
The Caribbean Export Development Agency is seeking a Finance & Programme Operations Officer to support the delivery of the Caribbean Women Entrepreneurs Generating Resilient and Inclusive Trade (GRIT) Programme. Funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the four-year initiative is designed to strengthen the productivity, competitiveness, and export readiness of women-led businesses across six Caribbean countries through training, grant funding, technical assistance, trade missions, and launch-to-market programmes.
This in-house consultancy role is based at Caribbean Export's headquarters in Barbados and offers an opportunity to play a central role in the financial and operational management of a high-impact regional programme. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance & Operations and Programme teams to oversee budget monitoring, financial reporting, procurement, compliance, and logistical support, ensuring the programme is delivered efficiently and in accordance with donor and Agency requirements.
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' relevant experience, preferably supporting donor-funded projects. Professional accounting qualifications (or progress toward certification) and experience with financial management systems are considered strong assets.
